Website for Aberdeen Stone Cottage B&B
Here's a peek at a new site we just finished for Angela's parents' bed and breakfast in Traverse City. Her mom's homemade scones are perfect and her dad makes a mean frittata! http://aberdeenstonecottage.com

Discovery Center Great Lakes signage
Coming up with a symbol to unify the Great Lakes Children's Museum, The Watershed Center Grand Traverse, the Maritime Heritage Alliance and Traverse Area Community Sailing had to have, at its core, water. And mostly, their logo would be represented in their sign. And it needed to be playful too. A big blue green marble. Yeah.
We love Scott's Harbor Grill
We've done design work for Scott Neumann since he first came to town. Here's his website that we take care of for him. Our favorite spot to eat overlooking Grand Traverse Bay...best Caesar salad anywhere for sure. Fish tacos are worth raving about too!

Angela's other painting life
I thought I'd add a post about my painting life as I firmly believe that it supports completely my graphic design self. I have a BFA in painting from Indiana University, and painting pretty much runs parallel to all the rest of my life. Here's a link to my website...

Traverse Symphony Orchestra gets a new look
We recently completed a new logo project for the Traverse Symphony Orchestra. Besides being a client that dates back to the very beginnings of our business (almost 20 years...), we personally are great fans of the symphony and its music director, Maestro Kevin Rhodes.
They were looking for better recognition of their organization within the community. The existing logo, while having served them well for many years, only incorporated their initials, TSO. The new logo completely spells out the full name, Traverse Symphony Orchestra, so there's never any question who they are. We were all also looking for a more contemporary feel. Classical music is for everyone and we wanted the logo to shout that out loud and clear. The response so far has been excellent.
Erik and I are looking forward to a great season finale concert tomorrow afternoon at Corson Auditorium where the orchestra and Kevin Rhodes will be joined by piano soloist, Jeffrey Biegel. Tchaikovsky and Sibelius are on the menu!
